This system is designed to withstand the British weather and provides extreme durability against rain, UV rays, and frost.

One Layer or Two? Choose Your Protection

I offer two main installation methods. According to the material manufacturer, a professional **2-layer installation should last at least 15 years**.

  • Highly Recommended: 2-Layer System (Long-Term Durability)
    This is the best choice for a roof that lasts. I install a heavy-duty underlay (Tecnatorch Sanded) followed by a top cap sheet (Tecnatorch Mineral Charcoal). Welding these two layers together creates a thick, impenetrable shield. This system is designed to last at least 15 years, keeping your garage bone-dry for a long time.
  • Economic Choice: 1-Layer Installation
    This involves installing a single top layer of Tecnatorch Mineral Charcoal. It is a faster, cheaper option that will stop leaks immediately, but it has a shorter lifespan and is more prone to damage over time.

Complete Service: Decking, Timbers, and Waste Removal

If your garage roof is in poor condition, I offer a complete “start-to-finish” service. In the calculator, you can also include:

  • Roof Decking Replacement: I will strip off your old roof and install brand-new, strong OSB boards.
  • Structural Timbers: If your joists are rotten, I can replace them with new, pressure-treated roofing timber.
  • Waste Disposal: I will take care of all the rubbish and old roofing material, ensuring your property is left perfectly clean and tidy.
